Hādhā Kitāb al-Shiʻrah al-Yamānīyah wa-Malḥamat Dāniyāl / ʻan al-Ḥakīm Hirmis. [between 17--? and 18--?]

Three short texts on astrometeorology, dealing with events associated with the appearance of Sirius (al-Shiʻrá al-Yamānīyah), eclipses, etc., one attributed to Hermes as transmitted by Aristoteles (see beginning of text), followed directly from fol. 7a on by a text much in the same style attributed to Dāniyāl, and from fol. 19b on by yet another text, entitled in the colophon "al-Ḥukm ʻalá ṭawāliʻ al-burūj al-ithná ʻashar alladhī lil-shiʻrá al-Yamānīyah" (fol. 29b). The division between texts is not very clear. Items 7-9 in Hitti, P. Garrett coll.
